Hope that as many of you as possible are able to join us this weekend as we celebrate the end of our 3rd year as a crop! Doesn’t time fly when you are scrapbooking!
Our class this weekend is birthday themed, and you will need either a 6x4 or a 7x5 portrait photograph of a celebratory birthday or cake theme, maybe home baking even?
Lots of tactile items in this months kit including felt, thread and beads, no to mention a healthy dollop of diamond glaze!! Colours are Dark blue, baby pink and brown and will work for either a male or female orientated page.
Hope to see you Saturday, 11am-6pm

JULY '09 SCRAPMATES CLASS PROJECT: By Ann Freeman

Our next crop on Saturday August 1st we will have not only a class project but also a couple of half hour workshops on Picassa (a photo editing software package - free from Google) and possibly Photoshop. More details to follow, but as always the crop will be £15 for the day including the aforementioned extras for August, plus tea/coffee/juice and maybe a muffin or two! Please e-mail me to reserve you place if you have not already done so - until then, happy scrapping!!

Well it had been a while since we had got together, due to there being no crop in June as a number of us attending the ScrapAGoGo retreat just up the road in Cheshunt for the weekend, but we had much fun today.
Despite the sunshine and high temperatures outside, inside the hall was cool, crisp and calm, with some stunning layout being creating from the class kit as shown below.

National Scrapbooking day was great!

Many thanks to all of you who joined us yesterday to celebrate National Scrapbooking day with ScrapMates, ScrapShed and of course Rusty Pickle. I think I speak for everyone when I say what a great day it was, and what a fab class Lance taught us.
I was also really pleased with how many managed to complete a page using the ScrapMates kit too - even before Lance arrived and we scrapped our hearts out!! Below are a selection of images from the ScrapMates class layouts.

National Scrapbooking Day - come and play

Not long now until we celebrate our awesome hobby with a day of scrapbooking and the company of the very lovely Lance from Rusty Pickle.
As well as the Rusty Pickle class running from 2pm-5pm we will be cropping from 11am-6pm with the usual refreshments and ScrapMates class kit. We will be using the April kit (see image in earlier post) and making either two single pages or a double page. Please bring a selection of 6x4 photographs with you, landscape or portrait will work, and we will be using more than one on a page!
Look forward to seeing you all on Saturday - any problems before then, please get in touch!!
